Paul Harris was the Founder of Rotary International on February 23, 1905 in Chicago, Illinois.

 Paul Harris Fellow - one who honors Paul Harris by contributing $1000 - or for whom that amount is donated in their name.  A Sustaining member has contributed at least $100 with a stated intention of contributing a total of $1,000.  Further donations designate status as a multiple donor.  Paul Harris Fellows receive a certificate, pin and medallion.  Multiple donations result in "jewels" being added to the basic pin.  Partners of Paul Harris Fellows are also entitled to wear the appropriate pin designating the Rotarian's status as a Paul Harris Fellow.
